5 Ways To Achieve Brain Balance, Postpone Brain Aging

 

Taking memory supplements and memory vitamins is not the only way to take care of our brain.

What matters most is that we follow a healthy lifestyle, which ensures healthy aging and brain balance.

2.Exercise and activity. Studies show that exercise is correlated to the health of our brain. Exercising  improves our body’s blood flow, which in turn sends out more oxygen to our brain and helps it  function well.
Constant physical activities also produce neuron or cell regeneration in our brain’s hippocampus that protect against memory loss, as well as produce endorphins, which are  natural mood enhancers.
Research shows that daily gardening or housework are the best activities for the health of our (body and) brain. The world’s largest number of centenerians (people over 100 years old) is in Okinawa, Japan, where people grow their own vegetables in their garden.

3.Praying and Meditation. Prayer and meditation have ben found to promote relaxation, strengthen and increase the density of the brain’s cortex, and reduce the stress hormone cortisol, which limits the performance of the brain and its ability for memory.
15 minutes of prayer or meditation per day is all we need to improve our brain balance.

4.Sleep promotes proper brain balance.
Our brains rest and repair damage when we sleep.
Dreaming is important too. When we dream, our brain is working out the connections in the brain that has been left dormant, which is good for our mental health.
A good 7 to 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night is what we need.

Taking care of ourselvres by doing these things often will eventually lead to a healthy brain balance.
