Why is it that we think we do not need to continue our self improvement once we have finished our education?
Maybe it’s because we equate learning and development with the educational institutions that we have spent so much time in during our early years.
Of course, we carry on to develop throughout our lives, and carry on to gain new skills and attributes throughout our working lives and our lives as partners, parents, grandparents, and our involvement with our communities.
The desire to enhance is paramount here. If we get to the point of thinking that we no longer need to improve, we are showing how closed our minds are, and how entrenched our attitudes. This approach to life doesn’t allow for change, and doesn’t permit for improvement.
To be a fully rounded and healthy individual, it’s necessary to become able to respond to changes in our lives, in our environments and in our hearts and minds.
Reality is the beginning precept of personal growth. We mainly grow as humans by discovering new realities about ourselves and our world. You’ll surely learn some crucial lessons regardless how you live, but you are able to speed up your growth hugely by consciously looking for truth and intentionally rejecting untruth and denial.
Actual personal growth is truthful growth. You can’t make-believe. Your beginning commitment must be to expose and accept new realities, regardless how hard or obnoxious the outcomes might be. You can’t resolve issues if you don’t accept that they are there. Once you align yourself with reality, your issues won’t repair themselves immediately, but you’ll be taking a crucial step in the correct direction.
If you deny your troubles, you reject reality. The lies you tell yourself breed more lies and you get disconnected from your real self, not living up to your potential. You aren’t here to live this way. You’re here to learn how to produce a life you choose.
we’ll have a look at reality. This will help you comprehend how to distinguish and accept what’s real for you. These ideas may be fairly abstract, so your goal here is merely to acquaint yourself with the concepts.

No-one is perfect, and no-one knows everything there is to know.
Thankfully we generally are not required to know everything, but we do need to know when we need to learn something, and when we need to develop new skills and abilities.
Generally speaking, it helps to have a goal or two in mind to guide our self improvement program, and to have the right sort of attitude. For example, it’s best not to get too worried about what it is you can’t do, or need to enhance. Rather, we should take the knowledge of our shortcomings and examine ways in which we can improve.
Worrying will do no good at all. Our energy should be directed to working out exactly what it is we require to do better and how. Confidence is everything really.
Many people quit before they even start. They think they don’t have what it takes, or that it’s just simply impossible. But you have to stick with it, because success is at the end. You need to give your best all the time, in everything you do. The reward is huge
